Leadership

our business

Founder Paul Wilson

This photo was taken in late May of 1971, shortly after our founder, Paul Wilson, broke ground for our office at 1007 West Main, Marion. This is where the office is still located and has been in continuous operation for 52 years.

Paul was a pioneer in the real estate business for the Southern Illinois. He was one of the original Realtors representing the development of the Lake of Egypt. Under his direction, several homes were constructed in the Lake of Egypt area, as well as in various other locations throughout Marion.

Today the office is operated by his son Steve Wilson, and daughter Beth Wilson. As second-generation Realtors, they have the experience that clients need in today’s ever changing real estate market.

Following the tradition of excellent service to clients and the community that Paul established, Paul Wilson Realty has stood the test of time and has earned a great reputation in Southern Illinois.
